I pick them up because they do, in fact, make excellent kindling, and because I like to have a few around to decorate with, but mostly because they make my battery-electric mower go 'KchNK' every time it hits one, and there are lots of them.solarityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03606487180967915130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5487713068002286095.post-51124315947650822452013-10-05T08:45:47.520-04:002013-10-05T08:45:47.520-04:00You're supposed to pick them up?? Naturally the broken ones can be kindling, since they're pre-splintered pine. Compared to what I do at work, bending over to pick up things and put them in a bucket isn't much of a workout. The pain in the ass part is spotting them in the grass before you step on them. solarityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03606487180967915130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5487713068002286095.post-14725623410002896822013-09-30T11:16:29.901-04:002013-09-30T11:16:29.901-04:00Well, they sure are pretty. Have fun gathering them, sounds like a great functional fitness work out. Or a pain in the ass. Kinda both I bet.Crabby McSlackerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12108791388350253344noreply@blogger.com
