spring for real

I walked down the hill looking for trees with swelling buds, which I've been seeing on the way to work, but not here at home, and found the daffodil area at the old foundations looking promising.

"Area" is a bit vague, but "patch" is definitely too small.

I had expected to see color in the buds, but I found more than that:

Spring is yellow and green.
