melting

I don't know what the reflections are in the window in these two, but they add a mysterious depth, as though the tree were on the inside of the glass and the reflection came from outside.





Here, the ice is so very shiny because it's melting.

    I made the third one my solstice card; it seemed the essence of winter. (I really really don't like cold weather. I console myself with the beauty.)

    ...definitely the type of thing I prefer looking at in a photo or out the window than being out in the cold to see it.
