When I planted the coleus in this pot, the sourgrass hadn't shown itself. I really like the combination, though.
Of course, when I planted the coleus, it was standing upright. Then, because of the rain, even though the pot is under the edge of the porch roof, it was full of mud, not dirt, and the plant slowly sank sideways, allowing the lighter sourgrass plants to spread out.
I like the final design, even though I had little hand in it.

ReplyDeleteMy mom used to always grow coleus. Their leaves are so colourful. Love the second photo and how the plant shadow works in with the photo!
