OK, I went in and took word verification off, and changed the number of days before requiring moderation to three. We'll see how that works. They didn't make that easy, did they?
And hey! what happened to subscribing to comments? Now I'm supposed to check back on each comment thread on every blog I read until it dies down? How crazy are they?

No idea about subscribing to comments - I didn't notice.
ReplyDeleteThe word verification was definitely a pain, wasn't it? The very same day I took it off mine, I got one spam comment. Haven't had any since.
I tried to take mine off and couldn't find it! Must look again because it sucks! I'm thinking of changing to wordpress, I'm fed up with blogger.

ReplyDeleteBlogger is becomeing difficult, these days. I see you discovered how to get your subscribed link back. I keep reminding myself that it's a free service. Then I feel better. Mostly.
DeleteThere have been so many changes to Blogger...some of them I do not like and some are fine. But after all the years I've been blogging, I'm just going to hang in there!
ReplyDeleteDid you know you can put two different "subscribe" buttons on your blog? One for subscribing to posts and one to subscribe to comments. I love to see the "subscribe to posts" button because then I can see when you do a new post because I get a notice in my email.
