winter mugs

You get to vote.
[2013 is the first year in forty-two years of voting that I am living where there is no election all year. I've voted in some years where there was no primary because the only candidates were running unopposed, and I've voted in some elections where there was nothing on the ballot but school board candidates, but I've never spent a whole year not voting.]

I've chosen the mubs (yes, that seems to be the way I am compelled to spell mugs) to hang for the winter, the season when I heat cider in the microwave every day. I've tried several different arrangements. Let me know if you have a preference.

A.

B.

C.

  1. I like the first one best. Better balance of color. Love hot cider, too Yum!

    1. In practice, they get shuffled around a lot more than those three arrangements, because I often use more than one of them in a day.
I think I agree with you that the (mostly) solid and darkest color in the center balances best, but in real life, the hot color of the red mug (more glowing than it shows here) also has a lot of weight when in the center.
I go through more a quart of cider a week all by myself. Today I got to come home from work for a two hour lunch since we're closed Sundays, and I took time to pop corn for dessert and drink cider with it.

    1. It's the one I like least (the little dog on the green one is incredibly cute up close) but I use it the most because its colors bring out the best of my harvest gold bowls that I hate but use because they're the smallest so I eat less ice cream. Their inside is pale grey with a lotus blossom design. Clearly designed by a split personality.
