July? really?

I never expected to be sleeping in a flannel nightgown under a comfort in the middle of July. No, never.

  1. Sing it, sistah! I have been wearing my fleece "jammies" and fuzzy socks around the house, and still have a quilt in the living room to ward off evening chill. Bizarre.
    Darn that global warming!!!

  2. (LOL "global warming")

I was just in KY last week! Didn't get to see all the people I wanted to see, but it was great.

The weather forecast when we set out said it was supposed to thunderstorm every day we were there! :-P But it didn't. It was almost perfect. Go figure. (It was awfully windy one day, and looked like it might rain any minute, but it never did--the wind just kept us cool.)

  3. Hmmm - sounds more like a Canadian summer.... and we're having some of yours. It's supposed to be warm all week, and hot on the weekend. No flannel pj's here.

  5. Tonight will make five nights of flannel.
(Hmm. Five Nights of Flannel sounds like a mystery novel.)

  6. Five Nights of Flannel is a great title! Maybe a romantic comedy/musical on Broadway.

If it's any consolation, the weather this year has been bizarre pretty much everywhere.
