There was frost Sunday morning. By the time I got the fire going well again, my second pot of coffee was ready. Warmth inside and out. What could be better?

Life in a superinsulated solar house. More about the life than about the solar.
What a lovely way to start your day, especially when it's a little chilly outside!
ReplyDeleteThis is my first connection to your blog. I connected through another one. I really like this photo of the coffee pot.
ReplyDeleteYour stove is adorable!
ReplyDeleteNot a whole heck of a lot. Sounds pretty darn cosy to me. Nice to see that beautiful stove in good working order.
ReplyDeleteBL, I suppose frost is "a little chilly" in your terms. In mine it's "more than a little."
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Tom, and thank you. It's easier to take a good photograph of something with an interesting shape to start with.
I love this stove. The one in the living room is easier to fit wood into--well, in some ways--but it's so lovely to wake up to a warm kitchen. This morning I got up at five-thirty after last putting wood in it at eight-thirty last night and the stove was still putting out heat, and the coals were still glowing. Now that I'm about to leave for work an hour and a half later, it's still warm.
