NOT a Christmas tree

I went out to cut two Christmas trees this afternoon, and I did, but on the way I found something else. There was frost this morning. Brave? Confused?

  1. Magical, yes. When I showed it to my boss's eight-year-old grandson yesterday, his eyes got enormous.
Hopeful and strong--what I've been asking myself is whether plants think with their roots or their stems. Which one does the risk-factoring?

  2. Incredible! (that particular plant must have been thinking with it's roots. Perhaps it's male? hehehehe)

  3. That's one silly, mixed up flower - but lovely with it. Perhaps it had found a particularly sheltered spot, and was letting you know not to transplant it anywhere else! :)
