I came into the living room and saw this:
I looked up.
I finally figured out that it was a piece of drywall mud, not a piece of drywall, but I still don't understand why it fell off. I do suspect the unusually dry heat this summer had something to do with it.
And no, I'm not climbing up more than ten feet to try to mend it.

Looks like something shifted somewhere. Hope that nothing else falls!
ReplyDeleteI think that with weeks of highs in the nineties things expanded more than they ever had in the past two and a half years (and more, since the drywall was finished long before we had a certificate of occupancy.) This is a really well-built house--I hope it doesn't get tested much more!
