You're far closer to being ready for winter than we are. Unfortunately, we are probably far closer to winter than you are. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI was meaning to find an appropriate place to mention that the alfalfa field (the only one for miles around) actually got a second cutting of hay last week, after this extremely hay-unfriendly summer. I don't think it was more than eight inches tall, but they cut and baled it anyway.
