last fall flowers

The last fall flowers I can bring indoors. There's plenty of goldenrod still, but I'm allergic to it. There may be more Queen Anne's lace, but it isn't colorful. So I'm celebrating the start of fall with these that I cut down by the pond.

From the yellow of daffodils to these is half a year.

  1. They make a pretty centerpiece.

  2. Those are very pretty! We are well past wild flowers in these parts. Sigh.

  3. They're quite dead now, both the ones inside and the ones outside. There was only a touch of frost, but they're tender. The Queen Anne's lace is still fine.
