I had never used this tea pot before, and I don't remember ever seeing my grandmother using it or any of the set, but it used to be on the shelves beside her fireplace when I was a child. It has no cups, but I think it never did. The pot turns out to be easy to pour from while sitting in a rocking chair beside the stove.

Sunday morning coffee with new/old teapot

How beautiful! I love the colors and the shapes. What a treat.
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks like a lovely little set.
ReplyDeleteLovely teapot! I have a Royal Albert set that they don't make anymore. I've been trying to find plates, but, don't know where I would look except in England where they originally come from.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, indeed! And would fit in so well in my blue kitchen!!
ReplyDelete(I commented on the dog/bone post, but somehow it didn't show up. Sigh.)
I'm going to keep using different pots on days off when I can keep the coffee warm on the stove. I'm having so much fun with them.
ReplyDeleteBag Lady, every time I see a picture of your kitchen I say "She's got my counter tops!" so I can assure you it would fit perfectly. As for your missing dog post, Stony probably ate it.
Pretty! It looks as though it's in amazing condition.
