It's been a while since I've been able to get my father to the barber. I'm resisting the temptation to take advantage of that natural chrysanthemum head and put him in a Westie cut. ; )

Brought my trimmer home this weekend and am getting ready to "groom" my husband. Go for it! It's fun... and as we tell our "real" customers, "If you don't like it, it will grow back!"

Well, I've already dulled a 40 blade shaving him, when his electric shaver died. I was thinking a 5F on the back and sides and a 1 or 1 1/2 snap-on over the top. His barber is a genius, though. She has devised a cut that looks better after he's spent the afternoon squashing his head into a pillow, but she does it combing sections of hair out and scissoring along the comb, the way my (former) boss does some shih tzus who track horribly with a snap-on.
